It is with deep and tremendous sadness that we inform you that our former Club Chairperson and Club Vice-President Dermot O’Connell, has sadly passed away.

Dermot will be fondly remembered for his long association, outstanding dedication and tremendous commitment to Glanmire Football Club.

He will be truly missed, not only by his numerous friends within our Club but also by so many others from the overall Glanmire community. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences, prayers and thoughts go out to Nellie, Patrick, Brendan, Maria, Claire, Brian and the extended O’Connell family at this sad and difficult time.
