There’s plenty happening around the club this week, with a couple of important fixtures, two very special club events and lots of work happening quietly behind the scenes.

Our Junior C are back in action with a championship fixture Monday night, while our U13s take to the field on Saturday.

🔴⚪️ AARON O’SULLIVAN HOMECOMING
Friday is a very special evening as we welcome home Aaron O’Sullivan, Cork Minor All Ireland Champion, along with his mentors and Keith Ricken, for a community celebration at the Pike.
It promises to be a fantastic night for the whole Glanmire community - come along, meet the players and mentors, and help us celebrate a brilliant achievement.
💛💚 THE MICHAEL O’LEARY TOURNAMENT
We have one of the most significant dates in the Glanmire GAA calendar - the Michael O’Leary Tournament.
A day steeped in the history and tradition of our club, and one that reminds us of what GAA is all about; community, remembrance, friendship, participation and passing our traditions from one generation to the next.
👏 A HUGE THANK YOU
While the games and events are what everyone sees, there is an enormous amount of work happening behind the scenes.
To every volunteer who has given their time, energy and effort this week, and every other week, preparing pitches, organising events, setting up, cleaning up, coordinating teams and doing all the jobs that often go unseen - thank you.
It may not always involve playing a game, but it is every bit as important.
That dedication, teamwork and willingness to give your time is the very foundation of our club and is at the heart of our GAA traditions, values and culture. 🇮🇪
So, a busy and exciting week ahead for Glanmire GAA.
