Standing together at the opening of Street Leagues are three generations of Glanmire GAA, united by the same thing …. a love of the club and a willingness to give their time.
Our Club President, alongside two of our U15 referees, is a lovely snapshot of what makes our club what it is!
In a club, age doesn’t create a divide. It creates a connection.
Those who have given decades to the club stand shoulder to shoulder with the young people who are now stepping forward to take their turn. The baton isn’t simply passed on… it’s shared, supported and carried together.
And that is the beauty of volunteerism.
From our youngest Street League players to those who have spent a lifetime serving Glanmire, every generation has a place, a role and a voice.
